Las Vegas police seek man who stole power tools from Lowe’s

Metro Police are searching for a man who robbed a west valley hardware store at knifepoint late last month. 

Surveillance images shared by Metro show the man walking away with power tools. 

Around 12:50 p.m. Aug. 29, officers responded to the Lowe’s at 7550 W. Washington Ave., near Buffalo Drive, dispatch logs show.

The man entered the business, picked up the tools, and started to leave without paying, police said. When a person tried to approach him, the suspect flashed a knife and threatened to use it. 

Police described the suspect as a white man who stands about 5 feet, 6 inches, and weighs about 150 pounds. He has tattoos on his arms and neck, and wore a black baseball cap, black T-shirt, and dark-colored shorts.
