Park MGM to resume operations in October

Monte Carlo Transforms Into Park MGM

An exterior view of the Park MGM, formerly the Monte Carlo, is shown from Toshiba Plaza Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

The Park MGM, which has been closed since mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic, will reopen next month, MGM Resorts International said today.

“Park MGM is expected to reopen within the next 30-45 days,” the company said in a news release, which also announced the Sept. 21 reopening of MGM’s Empire City Casino in New York.

Once the Park MGM opens, the Four Seasons hotel at Mandalay Bay will be the company's only domestic property still closed.
