In an incredibly self-centered and reckless move, President Donald Trump held an illegal indoor rally in Henderson.
The hallmarks of Trump’s political rallies are: no masks, no social distancing, total disrespect for our residents and disregard for proven Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
The number of new COVID-19 cases has been fairly stable over the past few months in Nevada. But after two recent mask-free, social distancing-be-damned Trump rallies, expect to see a jump in infections over the next few weeks.
The Sun reported that the owner of the Henderson venue has been fined $3,000. Perhaps the Trump reelection campaign should be fined $3,000 for every person attending the rally, to show he is serious about being a “law and order” president.
