A pedestrian died after being hit by a car this morning, according to Henderson Police.
The incident happened about 5:30 a.m. on St. Rose Parkway, east of Raiders Way, police said.
The car was headed east when it struck the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the pedestrian's name after family members have been notified, police said.
Eastbound St. Rose Parkway was closed for about four hours while officers investigated, police said.
