RENO — Police have identified two men who were fatally shot in a parking lot outside a northeast Reno bar but haven’t released any details about what led up to the shooting.
Dustin Hall, 25, of Sun Valley and Jay Canchola, 41, of Sparks died from their wounds Wednesday night after being transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, police said.
Officers responded to the shooting in the parking lot of the Mixers Bar on Clear Acre Lane just before midnight Wednesday.
The shooter was at the scene but was not arrested. Police have not disclosed any other details.
Mixers Bar Owner Daniel Jones said that officers told him that the fight started as a “fender bender” and then escalated, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.
