Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said in a news release that Brian Diego Terrazas, 27, was identified as a suspect, and arrested and booked Tuesday by Clark County District Court on one count of open murder. Authorities believe Terrazas shot the victim, who was driving on East Lane, though no additional details were released.

Police responded at 4:56 p.m. Saturday to a single-vehicle collision in the 1600 block of East Lane. Officers located a male driver in the car, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene, according to the release.

An investigation led by the Metro Homicide Section indicates that the victim was driving on East Lane when he was shot and then drove his car into a wall.
