Police seek suspect in Las Vegas jewelry store robberies

Metro Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing jewelry from two stores early last month.

During the suspected grand larcenies, the suspect would enter the store and pose as a customer, police said in a release. The suspect would wait for an opportune moment and would grab jewelry that had been taken out for customers and run out of the store.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, with tattoos on both of his arms, police said. In at least one instance, he was seen fleeing the are in an older white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
