Man found dead in vacant lot in Las Vegas

A man suffering from apparent blunt force trauma was found dead Monday in a vacant lot in the northeast valley, according to Metro Police.

Metro received reports about 3 p.m. Monday of a man found unresponsive in the lot in the 1100 block of Pearl Avenue, near U.S. 95 and Charleston Boulevard, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Detectives have not identified a suspect or motive in the death, police said.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name, along with the cause and manner of death.
