A suspect has been arrested in the stabbing death of a man earlier this month, Metro Police announced today.

Nicholas Dove, 27, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on counts of open murder and battery with the use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm, police said.

Officers responded early Dec. 3 to a hotel room in the 3700 block of West Flamingo Road, where they found a man suffering from stab wounds, police said. The victim was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died, police said.

Detectives believe Dove and the victim had an altercation prior to the stabbing, police said. The incident is believed to be drug related, police said.
