Jawaher Hejji, 26, was reported missing Dec. 25, 2020, by her family.

Metro Police continue to search for a 26-year-old woman who disappeared in late December, releasing additional details Thursday of her last known location.

Jawaher Hejji, who stands about 5 feet, 8 inches, and weighs about 190 pounds, was last seen on Dec. 22, Lt. Dave Valenta said in a recorded statement.

The following day, her car was found parked at Shaded Canyon Drive, near Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Valenta said.

Surveillance footage shows her walking on a construction site near the Amargosa Trail, not far from the top of Black Mountain, Valenta said.

Hejji has black hair and brown eyes, said Valenta, noting that Henderson Police had been involved in the search.

“We have found no trace of her in that area,” Valenta said.

Anyone with information on her possible whereabouts is asked to call Metro’s Missing Persons Detail at 702-828-5705. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or crimestoppersofnv.com.
