Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a two-alarm fire at a condominium construction site in the northwest valley, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials.
Nobody was injured in the blaze, which was reported about 12:20 a.m. at Winslow Condo Community, 5730 Sky Pointe Road, near U.S. 95 and Ann Road.
When firefighters arrived, a two-story building, which was in the framing stage, was heavily involved with fire, officials said. A second alarm was called, with more than 65 firefighters battling the blaze.
The extent of the damage was not determined, officials said. It was hazardous to move about the project in the dark because of the damage and the possibility of a building collapse, officials said.
Fire investigators were scheduled to return after daybreak.
