A passenger in a car was killed Friday night during a crash near Craig Road and Bruce Street, according to North Las Vegas Police.
A Hyundai sedan that was heading east was trying to turn left on Bruce during a yellow light when it was hit by an SUV, which had the right of way and was driving west on Craig, police said.
The SUV struck the car on its front passenger side about 7:30 p.m., killing that person, police said.
Three other people in the car were taken to the hospital, said police, who did not disclose their medical prognosis.
The person operating the SUV was not impaired and was cooperative, police said.
