I support the American Jobs Plan that President Joe Biden has proposed to transition this country to 100% clean energy by 2035.
Through investing in sustainable infrastructure and diverting 40% of the proposed benefits directly to Black, Indigenous and people of color, those communities that have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic are ensured to receive the support they need to recover.
Implementing sustainable infrastructure such as solar panels, wind turbines and affordable electric vehicles, and making sure that communities of color get the help they deserve, leads to a more equitable society in which American infrastructure will thrive.
I hope Nevada’s delegation will see how this can lead to a brighter future in this state.
