A gambler at the Venetian hit a $1.2 million spade royal flush Tuesday while playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em, according to a news release.

The hand triggered the “mega tier” of the Venetian’s Millionaire Progressive promotion. To win the progressive, a player must place a $5 side bet and get dealt a natural spade royal flush.

The promotion is available at several different poker-related games at the Venetian and Palazzo.
