Officers conducting a welfare check at at apartment discovered two people dead in a murder-suicide, according to Metro Police.
Metro dispatchers got a call from security about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday requesting a welfare check at an apartment in the 7200 block of West Sunset Road, police said.
Officers entered the apartment and found a man and woman dead, police said. The two were arguing when the man shot the woman and then killed himself, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release their names, police said.
