I applaud Brian Greenspun for his spot-on column Feb. 28, “America needs a good shot in the arm,” about COVID-19 shots and their mandatory significance.
We live in a senior community, where many people refuse to be inoculated for senseless reasons. Greenspun, as an attorney, is frustrated, as am I and so many others, that these people are putting the rest of us at risk.
There need to be mandates that require people to show that they have been vaccinated for COVID-19 before entering a fitness center, sporting event, airline or any large venue. I have heard that this is an invasion of privacy. The same thing applies to children upon entering school, but schools do require proof of vaccinations.
