One person has died and another was hospitalized today after a crash near the intersection of Stephanie Street and Russell Road, according to police.
Officers received a call at 2:15 p.m. of a crash in the area involving a white Ford Escape and a white Chevrolet Silverado, Metro Police said in a news release. Medical personnel pronounced one person dead at the scene, and another was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
Police advised to avoid the area.
