Best Bets: Pure Aloha, Alanis Morissette, Baritones of Love and more for your Las Vegas weekend

An overwhelmingly diverse slate of live entertainment and cultural events awaits over the next three days in Las Vegas, everything from beloved alternative rock stars to island-style, family-friendly relaxation. Perhaps most important, the first concert in a year and a half inside the big room at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts is taking place, but you can also catch the season opener for a different local hockey squad.

DREW BALDRIDGE The country star will perform a special concert at Stoney’s Rockin’ Country at Town Square Friday night to honor the victims of the Oct. 1, 2017, shooting with some proceeds going to benefit the Love Wins organization supporting survivors though various programs. SYMPHONIC ROCK SHOW Reynolds Hall at the Smith Center comes back to life this weekend with this classic rock concert featuring a five-piece band and a 21-piece orchestra. October 1, thesmithcenter.com.

PURE ALOHA FESTIVAL The popular music, food and cultural event celebrating all things Hawaiian and island-related makes its return just in time for its 15th anniversary. Catch all the live entertainment, carnival games for the family and more all weekend long at North Las Vegas’ Craig Ranch Park. October 1-3, vizzun.com.

UNLV HOCKEY You already know it’s almost time to head back to the Fortress to cheer on the Golden Knights for another season, but the UNLV Rebel hockey squad is kicking off its season this weekend with a two-game home series against Illinois at City National Arena in Downtown Summerlin. RAY ROMANO & DAVID SPADE These two TV comedy favorites haven’t had much opportunity to reunite in Las Vegas for their Aces of Comedy shows at the Mirage Theater, but now’s the time. Put everything on hold and enjoy some well-deserved laughs. October 1-2, mirage.com.

ALANIS MORISSETTE The Canadian alt-rock singer-songwriter is celebrating 25 years of her landmark album “Jagged Little Pill” with her current world tour and Morissette is bringing along fellow ’90s favorites Garbage along for the ride this weekend at T-Mobile Arena. October 2, t-mobilearena.com.

BARITONES OF LOVE You may recognize these four singers from various Vegas shows and events, but you probably haven’t seen them together. Randal Keith, Enoch Augustus Scott, David Vilella and Carnell “Golden Pipes” Johnson perform two shows Sunday at the Nevada Room and it might be the perfect way to wrap up the weekend.
