The “Big Lie” had only one perpetrator in the beginning, and he made the wildest false claim — that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. He has offered no verifiable proof of any kind. In fact, he has since generated an explosion of other lies about how the election was stolen, showing no regard for the truth.
These claims of a stolen election have been investigated by opponents and proponents, and no proof has been found to support them.
Nevertheless, as an apparent power grab for himself and a promise of possible power for like-minded people; this lone perpetrator convinced others to spread the “Big Lie” too; with the additional perpetrators, this lie gained momentum because some of the new perpetrators are in important positions of power.
However, the new perpetrators are not providing the needed support system — recruiting more and more believers — to sustain the size and weight of the “Big Lie.” Their numbers seem to be shrinking, and this is a major problem in sustaining their lies.
The “Big Lie” is showing signs that it is coming apart as some perpetrators are backing away, support funds are drying up and recruitment efforts are failing. It appears that the remaining perpetrators are employing drastic and desperate efforts to hold the “Big Lie” together.
It’s too late, thank goodness; more and more Americans are beginning to see the truth — that the election was not stolen, but he is attempting to steal it himself.
