You can call President Joe Biden Hitler. You can call the Democrats socialists. That does not change the fact that 680,000 people in the United States have died from the pandemic, or that 1,500 people died today. And 1,500 more will die tomorrow, many of them Republicans and children.
Why has the Republican Party become the stupid party? I wish I knew. I suspect it has something to do with being anti-science. I suspect it has something to do with the GOP’s love of conspiracy. I suspect it has something to do with being willing to try to survive on lies. But, I truly don’t know.
I just know that right now, they are killing themselves, or at least trying to.
