A man was killed early Saturday morning near a homeless encampment at the corner of Mountain Vista Street and Carol Circle in east Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.
The victim had been in a physical altercation with a homeless individual identified as Shawn Jackson, officials said in a Sunday news release.
Jackson, 33, was arrested and booked on an open murder charge at the Clark County Detention Center, officials said.
