A Legacy High School teacher was arrested Wednesday on accusations of sexual contact with a juvenile, coercion and kidnapping, according to Clark County School District Police.

Cody Glass, 34, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center where he remained as of Wednesday afternoon on seven counts, including engaging in sex with a pupil, two counts of kidnapping a minor, three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of coercion, according to booking logs.

Glass is scheduled to make an initial appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court Thursday morning, according to online court records. Counsel to represent Glass was not listed.

The arrest stems from an investigation initiated at the high school in May, police said in a release. Glass has been a teacher with CCSD since July 2021, and has been assigned to home since the beginning of the probe, police said.

Police ask that anyone with information about the case, or anyone who may have had “questionable” contact with Glass call 702-799-5411.
