A sports restaurant with a Louisiana-themed menu including dishes like crawfish étouffée and gumbo is opening Monday at Harrah’s on the Las Vegas Strip.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, which boasts a family friendly atmosphere, will also be the franchise’s first location with a full breakfast menu, including items such as Beignets and chicken and waffles.

“Our team of culinary experts has worked diligently to ensure that guests of this new location are welcomed with an authentic Louisiana experience," Brandon Landry, founder and CEO of Walk-On’s, said in a statement.

The restaurant will feature more than 80 televisions for watching sporting events, with the opening just in time for the final games of the NCAA Tournament.

Walk-On's will host a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Wednesday to mark the opening.

Dan Walsh, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah's Las Vegas, said the resort has been working on “the transformation” of its food and drink offerings.

Walk-On’s will offer “a fun and welcoming experience for business and leisure travelers alike,” he said in a statement.

Based in Baton Rouge, Walk-On's was founded in 2003 by Landry, a former walk-on basketball player at Louisiana State University.

Walk-ons has restaurants in 11 states, with locations in six more states, including Nevada, coming soon, according to the company’s website.

Another new restaurant, Ramsay's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, is set to open at Harrah’s this fall.
