Rock legend Rod Stewart returns to his Caesars Palace residency in Las Vegas May 13-14, 18 & 20-21

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a musical overload in Las Vegas. There are simply too many concerts and headlining shows planned for the upcoming weekend for any of us to handle on our own, so we’re going to have to team up. Choose your genre, get your tickets, enjoy the experience and report back on what you’ve found.

KEM & KENNY “BABYFACE” EDMONDS These two R&B favorites are teaming up for a special night of music hosted by TV’s Sherri Shepherd at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Expect some of your all-time favorite songs, a little storytelling and some laughs while making musical memories. May 13, virginhotelslv.com.

STEVE MILLER BAND Multiplatinum singer-songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller brings his music back to the Strip at the Venetian Theatre this weekend with an interesting twist. He rediscovered a long, lost concert recording from 1977 during the pandemic downtime and released it as an album last spring, and now he’s touring with renewed energy while looking back at his long catalog. Classic rock fans better not miss this one. May 13-14, venetianlasvegas.com.

ROD STEWART The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been in a state of transition in recent years, bringing in lots of new talent for residencies and concert stops. Rod Stewart is the last man standing, keeping his long-running headlining gig alive at one of the Strip’s most storied theaters. He’s back this week, celebrating the 10th year of his show “The Hits,” and he’ll be singing all of ‘em. May 13-14, caesars.com.

DOOBIE BROTHERS Fresh off their 50th anniversary tour, the Doobie Brothers (including beloved members Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, John McFee and Pat Simmons) storm into Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood for an eight-show Las Vegas engagement. Which of the group’s five top 10 singles and 16 top 40 hits will be performed? May 13-14, caesars.com.

SNOOP DOGG & ICE CUBE Snoop is co-promoting this weekend’s Lovers & Friends festival at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, starring Lauryn Hill, Usher, TLC and too many other R&B and hip-hop stars to list. But he’s still squeaking out some time to hit the stage at Mandalay Bay’s Michelob Ultra Arena Saturday night alongside fellow SoCal rap legend Ice Cube, who was just in town to help celebrate the NFL Draft with the hosting Las Vegas Raiders. Warren G will be part of this concert as well. May 14, mandalaybay.mgmresorts.com.

BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS Silk Sonic, Machine Gun Kelly, Dan & Shay, Megan Thee Stallion, Mary J. Blige, Travis Scott and Miranda Lambert are all on the list of performers for Sunday night’s BBMAs, back on the Strip for the first time since 2019 and hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. And unlike the recent Grammy Awards also held at MGM Grand Garden Arena, there are still public tickets available for this one. May 15, mgmgrand.mgmresorts.com.

COCKTAIL CABARET If you’re staying off the Strip this weekend, hit the iconic Italian American Club for a revival of one of our favorite small-room shows of recent years, the swanky “Cocktail Cabaret” anchored by Keith Thompson and Philip Fortenberry. This is where you’ll find the vintage Vegas vibes. May 15, iacvegas.com.
