A man died Friday after a shooting in North Las Vegas, according to officials.
North Las Vegas Police responded about 10 p.m. Friday to a shooting in the 3100 block of Plumwood Lane, near Cheyenne Avenue and Pecos Road, department spokesperson Alexander Cuevas said.
The victim, who is believed to be in his 40s, was located suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead by arriving medical personnel, Cuevas said.
North Las Vegas detectives and CSI were called to the scene.
The investigation is still in its preliminary stages and no further information will be released at this time, Cuevas said.
