The UNLV volleyball team received an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament and will play Washington State at 5 p.m. Thursday in San Diego.
UNLV lost in the Mountain West tournament last week to Utah State, but had solid credentials — a 26-4 record and league regular season title — to earn a spot in the 32-team field.
This will be the program’s fourth all-time NCAA Tournament appearance. The Rebels are 83-16 since 2019, including last fall winning the postseason National Invitational Volleyball Championship title.
The UNLV-Washington State winner would advance to play at 7:30 p.m. Friday against the San Diego-Northern Colorado winner. San Diego (27-1) is one of the tournament’s No. 2 seeds
