Two bodies discovered after Las Vegas house fire

Two bodies were discovered after firefighters put out a house fire early Thursday in northwest Las Vegas, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials.

Firefighters responded about 4:30 a.m. to a two-story house in the 7300 block of Bachelors Button Drive that was engulfed in flames, officials said.

The roof collapsed, and firefighters who tried to get inside the house were pushed back by intense heat and flames, officials said.

After putting out the blaze, crews found the bodies of a man and woman, officials said.

The fire remains under investigation, officials said.
