David Blaine gets some help from an audience member during his performance at Resorts World Theatre on September 30.

Illusionist David Blaine was injured while performing a stunt Saturday night in Las Vegas but was able to continue his show, according to a statement from representatives.

Blaine dislocated his right shoulder when he jumped 80 feet into a stack of boxes at the start of his show at Resorts World, according to the statement from a public relations agency.

Doctors from the audience treated Blaine, and after his shoulder was popped back into place, the show went on, the statement said.

“My Las Vegas residency is filled with many of my favorite acts that I love in magic and stunts that push me beyond my limits,” Blaine said. “Even though I have trained much of my entire life, there is an implicit danger when you are pushing yourself to make possible what feels impossible.”

His Las Vegas show, “David Blaine: In Spades,” returns to the Resorts World Theatre April 28-29, May 5-6, June 2-3 and July 14-15.
