Kelly Clarkson opens at Bakkt Theater on July 28.

She never got to open her first Las Vegas Strip residency show at Zappos Theater in 2020. Now, Kelly Clarkson is ready and so is her room, recently renamed as Bakkt Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort. The powerhouse pop singer will begin a new exclusive engagement there July 28, with 10 performances through Aug. 19. It’s called “Chemistry … An Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson,” and it promises to immerse fans in a special musical experience spanning her 20 years making hits. Tickets go on sale starting March 31 at ticketmaster.com/kellyvegas.

Singer and comedian Sarah Hester Ross is set to preview her upcoming comedy special — which she will film at the El Portal Theatre in L.A. on April 7 with production company Comedy Dynamics — at Coop’s Cabaret tonight, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. “This is going to be a really special and intimate night [and] I’m thrilled to be doing it for my local Vegas community,” Ross said in a statement. After performing regularly at various Vegas lounges, building a huge social media following with her viral comedy musicals on TikTok and Instagram, and performing a residency show at downtown’s Notoriety, Ross is ready to take the next big step with the special. Tickets for the preview are $10 and more info can be found at coopscabaret.com.

Magic Mike Live” is opening a new limited engagement at the Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, Texas on May 11, set to perform 10 shows a week. The show will be similar to the production running at Sahara Las Vegas, but this is the North American touring show, so the Vegas version will continue its normal schedule. “North Texas audiences have been visiting our Las Vegas show in huge numbers for years, but this touring production is something new. It’s the culmination of everything we’ve learned about our show and our guests after selling over a million tickets around the world,” Executive Producer Vincent Marini said in a statement. “It’s joyful, it’s sexy, and it’s just a ton of fun. I just know that people will be blown away the minute they walk into the venue.” Just like in Vegas, guests will be able to come early and stay late to enjoy a lounge with music and multiple bars.
