Vegas Golden Knights fans watch Game 6 of the NHL hockey second-round playoffs on Sunday, May 6, 2018 during a watch party event at Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena. The Golden Knights shut out the San Jose Sharks to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Tickets for the Golden Knights' first-round series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs will go on sale to the general public Wednesday at 10 a.m., the team announced today.

Season ticket holders will get first dibs on postseason tickets, as part of the annual membership agreement. They will be able to retain their tickets for each home game. Those with season tickets are expected to receive further details today.

Full-season ticket members can opt out of their tickets if they so choose.

Those in good standing with their season ticket payments will have a "Cheer Now, Pay Later" option, allowing ticket holders to make their payments when the first round ends.

Purchases for games not played will be refunded within 10 to 14 days, the team says.

The Golden Knights clinched a playoff spot for the fifth time in their six-year history on Thursday and are in first place in the Pacific Division.

Should Vegas finish in the top two of the division, their first-round series would feature Games 1 and 2 at T-Mobile Arena.

Dates and times will be finalized once the bracket is finalized. The Stanley Cup Playoffs begin on April 17.
