After their special engagements at Dolby Live at Park MGM and the opening of their family’s restaurant, Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, across the street at MGM Grand, it’s safe to say the Jonas Brothers can’t go long without stopping at the Strip. Their huge new stadium and arena tour brings the boys back to Vegas on September 8 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, with tickets going on sale May 12 at axs.com.

Here are the other live entertainment announcements this week: rising star comic Matteo Lane makes his debut at Encore Theater on July 29; comedian Matt Mathews takes the stage at the Summit Showroom at Venetian on July 29; Latin megastar Karol G will be back in town for an Allegiant Stadium show on August 11; metal band Lamb of God returns to Las Vegas with a concert at the Pearl Concert Theater on August 25; DL Hughley brings the funny to the Mirage Theatre on September 23; The Gaslight Anthem will take over at Brooklyn Bowl on October 4; and chart-topping rock act Shinedown brings its Revolutions Live Tour to MGM Grand Garden Arena on October 13.

Transfix, the massive touring art experience currently set up at Resorts World Las Vegas, is partnering with international culture festival Art With Me to present Dance With Me on May 12 at 7 p.m. The all-nighter will “celebrate the fusion of art, music and dance” across the 4-acre venue with interactive installations and three stages of live performances from musicians and DJs including Lee Burridge, Sabo & Goldcap, Anthony Middleton, Atish, Britta Arnold, Chris Cauldron, Francesca Lombardo, The Soul Brothers and many more. Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, Jeff Ross, Nick Kroll and other comedy stars will headline It’s No Joke, a fundraising event to benefit Project ALS research in honor of Kimmel’s godson and Las Vegas resident Joey Porrello, on May 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at the Linq Promenade. A limited number of tickets are available to the public via email at [email protected], with prices ranging from $500 to $1,250. The 175-seat club will definitely fill up for this event, which also features a silent auction full of exclusive experiences and items. Porrello, whose father attended Clark High School in Las Vegas with Kimmel, was diagnosed with ALS last year and retired from his civil engineering job. Since then he’s been partnering with organizations like Project ALS, based in New York, to raise awareness about the disease and fund research to find a cure.
