Chris Hemsworth did not meet Brian Tyree Henry until after “Transformers One”

LONDON (AP) – Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry not only were never in the same room while making the movie “Transformers One,” they did not even meet until after the film was done. Hemsworth says they did not meet until they were doing interviews to promote the movie, which is funny because their characters are supposed to be friends. Hemsworth says it’s a credit to director Josh Cooley that he was able to work out the chemistry. Hemsworth voices Orion Pax, who becomes Optimus Prime, while Henry voices D-16, who becomes Megatron. “Transformers One” is in theaters now.

Fahy and Hewson from “The Perfect Couple” talk about overnight success — and their lack thereof

You hear all kinds of stories about overnight successes in Hollywood. Meghann Fahy and Eve Hewson of the Netflix series “The Perfect Couple” are not that. Both of them have acted in smaller roles for more than a decade. Fahy says it feels good to break out now because she works “really, really, really hard for a really long time.” Hewson says she’s heard the stories of people who walked into an audition and walked out a star, but a lot of actors don’t want to talk about the hard work. However, both acknowledge they get recognized now. Fahy says fans of her work on “The White Lotus” tend to be “sweet people,” while Hewson says she’s amazed when little old ladies at the grocery store recognize her from “Bad Sisters.”

Colbert says his mother hung that recipe in her kitchen and would make it every now and then. The book also includes four different recipes for fudge from Colbert’s siblings that each insist is the definitive one. “Does This Taste Funny?” is out now.
