Joining Powell is Mike Helton, vice chairman of NASCAR. The multi-year agreement will make the South Point Hotel-Casino the title sponsor of the South Point 400 beginning in 2018. The 267-lap race is set for Sept. 16 and will be the first in the 2018 Cup playoffs.
