Arizona Charlie’s Holiday Food Boxes

Arizona Charlie’s employees pack holiday food boxes at the Boulder Highway location Monday, Dec. 23, 2013. Casino patrons contributed loyalty card points to the Feed a Family program and bought holiday dinners for 60 families. The food baskets will be picked up by the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority for distribution to needy families. The program was started last year by the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin and has since spread to other American Casino Entertainment Properties (ACEP). Each food basket feeds a family of four and includes a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, vegetables, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie.
