Vegas Cares Benefit

LAS VEGAS — A benefit concert honoring the first responders and the victims of the 1 October Las Vegas shooting was held at the Venetian Theatre at the Venetian Las Vegas on Sunday Nov. 5, 2017. Jewel, Mike Tyson, Rich Little, and Penn and Teller were just a few of the Las Vegas-based entertainers who lent their talents for the benefit. Vegas Cares is a collaborative effort of many Las Vegas entertainers, producers and business professionals, coming together to create an afternoon of entertainment to honor the innocent human beings who tragically lost their lives or were injured, as well as the brave first responders whose heroic acts saved thousands more on October 1, 2017. Proceeds from the benefit will go toward a commissioned memorial being created by artist Tim Bavington to honor those affected by the tragedy.
