William Hill Race & Sports Book at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas unveil its remodeled, state-of-the-art race & sports book on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. The new book features state-of-the-art technology including the biggest and clearest, one-of-a-kind video wall in downtown Las Vegas, measuring 5’ feet tall and 16.5’ feet wide, offering an incredible viewing area of more than 80 square feet. Opening celebrations included a turning on ceremony and a ceremonial first bet placed by former Las Vegas Mayor, Oscar Goodman – who also placed the ceremonial first bet when the sports book first opened in 2013.
