Unveiling of Women’s Suffrage Historic Marker
Thu, Mar 5, 2020 (9:22 p.m.)
A historical marker is unveiled at Centennial Park near the Historic Fifth Street School to honor the efforts made by significant events and people in Las Vegas for the fight for women getting granted the right to vote in the U.S. The historic markers project emerged from the National Votes for Women Trail, a project of the NCWHS. This digital site visualizes approximately 1,100 places and people who worked for woman suffrage from the middle of the 19th century through 1920.
