  1. The women on the Greenspun flag football team are amazing football players... just saying. :)

  2. Noble: I've been on the Liberty bandwagon since the spring. I've long said they are contenders. With that said, the penalty yardage needs to stop. You obviously have the game film -- how many 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalties have there been? Maybe I'm wrong. If so, my apologies to the Liberty-nation and those players. You have to remember Liberty is one of the city's elite teams. People will be watching, and criticizing each, week. Welcome to the show ...

  3. I think Brewer wrapped up my feelings with his last sentence. Liberty is clearly one of the best teams in the state and that's why we are talking about them. There's a reason we aren't diagnosing problems of 1-5 teams on the podcast. If anything, it's a compliment that their biggest issue is penalties -- something easily correctable.

We've been overwhelmingly positive about Liberty this year. We both picked them to win the Southeast at the beginning of the season (http://www.lasvegassun.com/podcasts/prep...). We've been at more Liberty games than any other team in the area. I've personally seen half of their games and think they have a real shot at doing something special.
