A sturdy, well-built runner who has shown the potential to post a big play any time he touches the football ... Left the football program during Spring Practice but returned in time for fall camp and will look to re-earn his spot in the team's running rotation as a sophomore ... 2011: Earned his first letter as a Rebel by playing in all 12 games ... Finished second on the team with 615 net rushing yards for an average of 51.2 yards per game ... His total was the second-most in a season for a UNLV player, just nine yards behind record-holder James Wofford (624 in 1997) ... Also caught eight passes for 45 yards with a long of 20 ... HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Serrano HS ... Earned three letters playing under coach Ray Maholchic ... Played running back and defensive back for the Diamondbacks ... Helped SHS post an 11-3 record in 2009 that included a run to the CIF finals ... Rushed for 1,347 yards and 17 touchdowns on 191 carries as a senior despite missing three games due to an ankle injury ... Exploded for 260 yards and six touchdowns in the CIF semifinals against Norte Vista HS ... Earned All-CIF, all-area and all-league honors as a senior ...
