2007: Turned in near-perfect season as team's long-snapper.

2006: Redshirted.

2005: Earned his first letter as a Rebel as a true freshman ... Played in 10 games as a blocking back and special teams performer.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Kamehameha HS ... Lettered two seasons as a HB and TE for coach Kanani Souza ... Named first team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) as a utility player as well as second team all-state.

PERSONAL: Kamuela K. Kapanui was born on Jan. 8, 1987, in Honolulu ... The son of Mary Kapanui ... Has one brother, Kolomona ... Already earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and is currently pursuing a second degree in kinesiological sciences.
