This kid is a nut case, I think we can all agree on that. The question seems to be is he a conservative/tea-partyer or a liberal.

The truth is that it doesn't matter.

He seems to be a troubled young man filled with hate and that hate seems to have been drawn from what he's been hearing from the media, mainly to hate anyone that represents the government. This is the message being sent out by Rush, Glenn, Bill O, Sarah and Heidi. And their message is simple: If they don't do what we say, "Take them out". Sarah Palin's infamous "Don't retreat, Reload", Sharron Angle's "Second Amendment Solution" and the various ways Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Heidi Harris have all said "We need to take out Obama/Reid/Pelosi".

I don't believe in censorship so I'm not going to suggest that the stations that carry these shows pull them off the air. What I will say is that maybe the station managers look into their souls and think about what they've let loose on the country for the sake of ratings and that the people that listen to these shows think about the life of the 9 year old girl and the others that were lost. Was your right to listen to these windbags worth the lives that were lost?

If you can say "Yes", then congratulations, you deserve to be a proud listener of AM Talk radio.

Me? I would rather drive around in silence.

Actually bbt you managed to say it yourself. "NET" profit. Those are the numbers that the insurance companies and their spokes people throw around, but then there's the fine print. That 4% to 6% profit is expressed as a percentage of TOTAL assets, not revenue. The number for many insurance companies is closer to 15% to 19%. When your talking about an industry that pulls in more than $100 billion a year, those profits are substantial. So where does the extra money go? Perks, profit sharing plans, the CEO's private jet and so on.

I don't have a problem with someone who works hard and makes money, but it takes a special kind of person to say "Our stockholders need the money for their private jets more than your child needs the care that will save their life".

I don't think the Affordable Care Act is anywhere near as good as it could be, in fact it pretty much sucks. But it's 100% better than doing nothing. Too bad Republicans weren't willing to participate in making something that would help the American people.

The bottom line of most of the Republican ideas are that if the insurance companies don't have to pay out as much, then insurance prices go down. So what you end up with is if insurance companies NEVER have to pay out, they could cut the price of insurance in half.

Think about it.

What's pathetic is how poorly educated the kids of Nevada are due to the constant cuts in our educational system. We are at the bottom in educational funding and per student funding and it shows.

And as for the pathetic people wanting an education, I dare you to go to CSN or UNLV and start calling the students deadbeats for wanting the state to pay their way. They would be more than happy to tell you what the truth is and provide you with a new collection of colorful names.

Yes Richard, it's true that the national debt has increased dramatically, but you seem to be ignoring the reasons behind the increase and just pointing fingers. You're also ignoring that when President Bush took office President Clinton handed over a balanced budget and a surplus. That was all gone long before President Obama took office. And yes, the debt has increased since President Obama took office, but if you haven't noticed the other thing that President Bush handed over was a failing economy.

The two sides have different opinions as to combating this problem.

Republicans say we need to stop spending at the Federal level and give money back to businesses in the form of tax decreases.

Democrats say we need more Federal programs to put people back to work and try to increase confidence in the economy, while at the same time helping people that have been hit hard by the downturn.

Who's right and who's wrong? I don't know, but I have my opinions. Where I think you are being incredibly biased is in thinking that one side or the other ALWAYS tells the truth and the other side ALWAYS lies.

Both sides are going to do their best to undermine the other, the problem occurs when they decide undermining their opponents is more important than the good of the people that elected them. Looking at it from that prospective I believe the Democrats take a slight edge.

The other point you seem to have missed Richard, is that the Republicans just voted in favor of blocking the disclosure of their Health Care insurance. Remember, that was Sen. Reid's main point; The American people should have access to health care that same as the elected officials in Washington. Don't you think people would get mad to find out that Republicans want to dismantle Health Care for everyone except themselves?

Nope, the property manager has no duty or liability as to the safety of the materials in storage. The people that rented the unit signed an agreement that they wouldn't store hazardous materials, but if you bought the unit, you own it and you're responsible and you have to remove whatever is in there at your expense.

I'm sure the property manager or purchaser could sue the renter if they could find them. Good luck with that.
