But but you hate the tyranny of the IRS. Isn't this a good thing? The evul IRS cannot prevent you from liberty. Oh yeah. It's them, not you. So sorry.

Sorry Tom. Wrong. After jan. 1, 2014 there are no more pre-existing conditions. Thati is the whole idea of ACA. I bet if one of these uninsured really got sick, they would run, not walk to the nearest emergency room and demand free care. Everyone should be insured Yes, there are better ways to do it, but the insurance company lobbies and their lackeys in congress did not allow a rational plan like in every other first world country, but one that give them tens and tens of billion in profits. And remember, these congresspeople ALL get gold-plated hassle-free insurance. They aren't giving it up. Nosiree. When the GOP puts in writing, the entire replacement they constantly talk about, we will discuss if it is "better" and for whom.

Why don't the baggers get AZ businesses to pay for this stuff? That's what they claim they want. Privitization. Except when they want something they really need. Why call on the rest of us? They want the Galt heaven. Why not live it.

When you're last, you can learn from everyone else. Surely there is some other state or school district we can copy. Bust maybe, just maybe, teachers elsewhere hearing that their low pay would be cut is keeping th em away. Something is, and it's not the heat (Phoenix does better). A real study, stating upfront that cost is not to be considered might at least tell us something. Of course, we will never spend what is necessary, so why waste everyone's time.
No, throwing money won't help because no one wants to spend it where it would do good. Demonizing teachers won't help. Blaming the students is irrelevant. Kids get educated everywhere in the world, so why not here?

Solution: pick a state in the top 20 and adopt their ways 100%

No it didn't end for us Nevadans. Most federal benefits are still denied to us. Rather that crowing about a false victory for Nevadans, our senators and reps all of whom think they are important big shots should do something.
For example: Harry Reid could refuse to fund any federal agency that doesn't stop discriminating against fellow Nevadans. He could ask the caucus to give up all federal benefits they enjoy that all married Nevadans don't get. Lets see less bragging and some real action. I know, it's too much to expect from the Senate majority leader who totally controls any and all legislation movement in the senate. He would be seen doing something for Nevada for a change (except extending legal gambling) and that might be unseemly.
