I don't always agree with everyone posting here, but i do wish to read their basis for their opinion.
You add nothing but name-calling and campaign slogans.
Your rants fail to do credit to union members (of which I am one) and are an embarrasment.
Please grow up or cease.

The news is bad. The hate-filled and mindless rants are truly terrifying. How long before some unhinged individual like Loughner seeks to impose some of these posters will? Absolutely Terrifying.

If you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

We have to pay for Education first. So then people will read the articles and comment intelligently. NORTH Las Vegas.

I have voted for Harry Reid since he was first elected. I have met him, listened to his speeches, and even campaigned for him in the 90s.

Sen. Reid started his career as a fighter for NV and it's way of life. He would argue/work with both Dems and Reps on issues that affected NV. He was a champion for the voters. Since becoming a major figure in the Democratic Party, Sen Reid has embraced the entire Democratic Party agenda (good and bad) and seemingly forgotten who voted him into office. I am not interested in the "Second Most Powerful Man in Washington", I am voting for the Senator for the State of NV. Sen Reid used to work with both parties to accomplish things in the furtherance of NV, now every other word is a partisan insult. He is neither a vicious man, nor is he stupid. He has merely forgotten why he is there. I base my opinion not on the ignorant attack ads and ravings, but on the Sen's own speeches I attended and actions during his recent term. He has given all he can and needs retire while he is still respected.

Sen Reid has become the epitome of "the Washington DC Business-as-Usual Atmosphere" and a poster child for term limits. I will never vote for Sen. Reid again.

This situation was a tragedy, now it is becoming truly sad! Now it is being used by the self-serving to further push personal agendas.

Per some bloggers, Costco should have to fire all workers and close that store as punishment for not training their stock clerks how to deal with armed people high on pain meds. They should sign the building over to Goodman and the Scott family so they can build the "Erik Scott Shrine for Second Amendment rights for Prescription Drug Users." Great plan! Every business owner in NV should now be forced to teach drug/mental illness recognition classes! Im sure this will help our unemployment woes!

But wait there is more....
All Police Officers should be fired! They are obviously all steroid junkies. These jack-booted Gestapo thugs are taught to kill in the Academy. They should be more trained in social discussion, but less trained in violence. They should be required to be in good shape, but not allowed to touch a citizen without citizen approval. Every other citizen is guilty until proven innocent, but for a cop they should have to waive their rights. Good plan! Who wants to sign up for that job? Your First public flogging is free!

The Scott family lost a loved one and that is tragic, but the family, their lawyer, and conspiracy nuts are using the media to make it a circus.

This was tragic, it is becoming pathetic.
