Unbelievable that simply expressing one's opinion of the obvious gets the comment removed. WOW - no name calling, no 'bad' words... just ones 'take' on the whole looting situation and it's removed... so much for freedom of speech... what's next LV Sun?

And then there's Martha Stewart - remember her - the convicted felon who caused a multitude of people to lose BIG BUCKS with her insider trading fiasco. Now THAT'S the person I refuse to buy any products she manufactures or endorses - I won't shop K-Mart linens because the last time I checked most all of it bears Martha Stewarts name...why in the world ostracize Paula and then turn around and think Martha Stewart, Michal Vick have 'paid their dues'. Has Martha made those who lost so much whole again through her own resources? Has Michael Vick been able to make whole all the dogs so violently victimized... didn't think so. Paula Deen spoke the words that were common for that era of time.. much like we used to say Eeny Meanie Miney Moe... and NO we didn't 'catch a tiger by the toe' either.

The lottery players who live in Nevada have already shown, time and time again, that they ARE going to play the lottery - plain and simple. I haven't seen ANY casino go out of business because of this nor do I expect any of us ever WILL see a casino go broke because someone chooses to spend a few bucks on some lottery tickets. Besides keeping the money generated from the sale of these tickets (regardless of whatever the State decides to do with this money)in THIS State, how about the fact that the establishment who sells a winning ticket ALSO reaps some financial benefits.... and that can only be a good thing for our economy. And NO, I don't think that the sale of said lottery tickets should be confined to the big casino's only.... What in the world is wrong with letting the 'little guy' have a fair shot at a piece of the pie?? With the low tax base the casino's in this State enjoy they are not going anywhere - trust me - and the politicians who are SUPPOSED to be representing WE, the People, need to knock it off with all their 'favor paybacks' and start REPRESENTING the people who gave them their vote.

I find it rather ironic that someone mentions that criminals should learn to live by the 'rules of society' yet advocate ignoring the fact that this young man himself did NOT follow the rules set forth regarding the I-Pad... hmmmm makes me wonder when all this ignoring of 'rules' really first gets started. Don't misunderstand - I don't fault the young man for being attacked at all and I DO feel the 'thug' SHOULD be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law - but that does NOT excuse ANYONE for simply ignoring 'rules' set forth that are USUALLY (not always) set for good reasons.
