Please explain to me why, in a live blog against Air Force, we get a picture of the Rebels in action against New Mexico.

Are we so cheap we cannot afford a picture of one of the best teams in the country from the game they are actually playing?

Brian, fair weather, great weather, crummy weather... we'll take them all.

The Rebels are truly a Las Vegas team.

Whatever it takes to get the T & M filled, we should do it. Were you here in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's?

Our city needs something to feel good about and the Runnin' Rebs are it.

The bandwagon is big and we can use everyone on board...

Just sayin'...

As Aaron suggested, government will always find a way to get their gas taxes. In Oregon, a major campaign to get people to consider hybrids and electric cars was so successful, the state had to raise gas taxes to cover the lost revenue needed for road repair and upkeep.

Regarding this article, I wonder why Mr. Hansen did not do some further background and give us some reasons why Nevada gas is some of the highest in the nation.

Looking at this list of, ahem, accomplished NBA players and former college All Americans reminds me just how far we still have to go in our efforts to bring big time NCAA basketball back to Las Vegas in anything other than a visitors jersey.

If there is a worse defense in the FBS of the NCAA, I can't come up with it. Two consecutive weeks of giving up more than 700 yards is not only pathetic, it is inexcusable.

The Sanford experiment has failed. We have two options.

1. Kill the football program and acknowledge what we all know, that UNLV is a basketball school.

2. Fire Mike, open the checkbook and go get a coach who has a proven track record both on the field and in recruiting.

Since I am sure the administration at UNLV will choose the second option and fire Sanford eventually, I can only hope they will go get that top level coach. All it takes is money, right?
