Here's a newsflash for you, college lines have already been out for a while, long before the Golden Nugget or any other Vegas dump put them out. They are copying lines, so please don't try to make these guys out as line making guru's.

And most smart gamblers would keep their wager with added equity if they had a better line than what what offered on game day, not look for a middle. Arbitrages aren't tying up money for 3 months + and $1,000 limit middles with 4.5% holds, hoping for a 3-4 pt window.

When you have paid rats like Peter Ernaut, a prostitute for hotel moguls, spurting their anti-American cabal propaganda, he needs to be held accountable in the most severe ways. He says "the foundation of gaming regulations is quality, not convenience". Translated to English, what that really says is, the customer is not important, and neither is free markets or competition (which gets the customer the best deals), what is important, is that the billionaires who build the hotels in this town (with fiat loans) should get an exclusivity to fleece sports bettors with outrageous holds and restrictive practices, and force them to come into our hotels/casinos to collect their money so we can get another crack at them when they walk through our casino. As long as your at it Petey, why not apply your reasoning to the alcohol that these taverns serve too, I mean, it's quality, not convenience, right, so anyone who wants a cocktail should have to go to one of the casino lounges in town, since the "quality" of lounge is so important to the regulation of alcohol.

When lawmakers no longer value the constitution, and become an instrument of monopolies, it is the responsibility of the citizenry to uphold their constitutional rights, and recognize the enemies of their liberty, and punish them accordingly. Peter Ernaut has showed us he is an enemy of liberty.

This is a perfect example of why corporate Vegas wants to monopolize all betting and eliminate competition, because they're criminals. It's a shame this reporter doesn't know enough about odds, gambling, or basic math to point out what should be obvious, THESE HOLD RATES ARE OUTRAGEOUS. Look at the first conference tournament listed, the very popular and most likely well bet ACC conference tournament. When you add up the odds, you have a market of 137.97%, which means the theoretical hold rate on this is a whopping 27.52%. This means the LVH expects to keep 27 cents of every dollar, making it even worse than horse racing takeouts and bringing it close to some state lotteries hold rates. This is a joke. I can wager this tournament at reputable offshore shops, and they have reasonable (for 12 entries) 10% holds. Let's compare the odds you can get at a shop like 5Dimes to the horrible prices offered by the LVH.

Duke -120 (lvh) +105 (5dimes)
Miami +225 (lvh) +350 (5dimes)
UNC +450 (LVH) +500 (5dimes)
NC State +550(lvh) +900 (5dimes)
Virginia +900 (lvh) +1100 (5dimes)
Field +1000 (lvh) +1500 (5dimes)

Oh, but the LVH is "licensed and regulated and legal", which when translated means, we justify ripping you off to the suckers by keeping out real bookmakers that actually offer fair prices to the bettor.

Using children as a backdrop for this show was right out of the communist playbook (just like when he used it when he forced his health care fiasco on us).

Perhaps he'd like to use some of the children killed by the guns him and Eric Holder allowed to go to Mexico so they could propagate their progressive agenda. Or perhaps, he'd like to use some of the innocent children maimed and brutally killed by one of his unmanned drones, where they are considered "collateral damage".

From left-wing radical, to scheming community activist, to President of the US in just 15 years, this will be regarded as a dark chapter in American history. But then again, so will the Bush years. 16 years (hopefully that's all) of Bush and Obama is damage that will be hard to correct. But let's hope we try.
