The statement by Jill Derby was biased--it mentioned one candidate by name and not the other--she mentioned Clinton and not Obama.

Why would the official statement of the Nevada Democratic Party be that either candidate won, when the process isn't done until the delegates are chosen national convention. It seems to imply, that the county delegates are going to change who they support between now and the national convention. So again, what was the point of holding this event when it doesn't results in official win of delegates?

The only thing I got out of this is that the Caucuses are confusing. Clinton got a popular majority, so why didn't Nevada just have a party primary election?

Obama got one more caucus delegate than Clinton, but they don't really count delegates until after the caucuses?

So what's the point--why did they even hold this event if none of the results end in a final official decision?
