How can there be no investigation with that level of violence?

I've seen three Metro squad cars turn up at Target to frisk teenager shoplifters, for heavens sakes.

Geez.

Tyler, other than complaining incessantly about what others are attempting to do to save the Huntridge, can you detail what YOU are doing?

I'm sure many people are curious (in the spirit of "transparency," of course).

Several points worth noting:

An illegal brothel does not mean the women found there were "victims."

It simply means prostitution in not legal in Clark County. Nothing more.

Why does your reporter refer to the women as "victims" and assume they were not working there willingly?

There is nothing in this story that to suggest these women were trafficked, held against their will, or victims.

If this is in fact the case, your reporter should report on these aspects of the case; she doesn't.

It seems like the Sun is making assumptions before the facts are in. Poor reporting on your part, but par for the course for how this particular reporter covers "trafficking."

"Anthony Bennett...was one of a few Rebels who sounded out of touch after the game."

Bennett's been "out of touch" most of the regular season. He gets my vote for most over-hyped player ever.

I'm not a fan of the Sun's reporting on this issue. To me, this reads like an almost identical story, with the exact same themes, as this one - only with a different headline attached.

Even the same people are sourced, with no comments from academics and activists who might challenge the dominant narrative about the supposedly widespread problem of prostitution and trafficking in Las Vegas or who might offer an alternative, and perhaps more complicated, perspective on matters.
