Cher has revealed that when her contract ends at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, she has decided to go on tour again! The 63-year-old superstar entertainer and actress showed up last night in Hollywood with Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner for the TCM Classic Film Festival’s screening of A Star Is Born and the after-party at the lounge hotspot Kress.

Cher, who wore jeans with a silver snakeskin jacket, has a new album set for release this year in two versions: one with 14 tracks and a deluxe edition with 19 songs. The debut single “Already Been There” will be launched at the World Music Awards. Her new film Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and Julianne Hough is due for release this Thanksgiving.

Here’s the Entertainment Tonight backstage look and the official movie trailer on YouTube.

*Exclusive! Plans are underway for this year’s Playboy Playmate of the Year unveiling to be held here at the Palms, but mum’s the word on further details. Last year’s winner Ida Ljungvist came here for the parties after her award, but this year, the glamorous event with crowning and celebration parties will all be held here.

*Our favorite rebel magicians The Rio headliners Penn & Teller are the grand marshals for the 20th Annual AIDS Walk on Sunday and also will lead their own team. The excitement starts with opening ceremonies at 9 a.m. at the World Market Center downtown and then the walk at 10:30 a.m. More than 8,000 took part in the walk last year, and Penn & Teller are participating for the ninth consecutive year. They have once again pledged to match all donations to their challenge team and last year raised more than $120,000.

*Gorgeous Hooters girls from all across the U.S. are here this weekend shooting their 2011 calendar. They will be hanging out poolside and in the Hooters Hotel opposite MGM Grand.

*The Doo-Wop Hall of Fame of America celebrates its Las Vegas premiere at The Venetian this weekend. A five-act concert featuring Hall of Fame-inducted recording stars from the 1950s and early 1960s will perform at The Venetian Showroom today and tomorrow.

He also signed chef Barry Dakake’s kitchen door at N9NE Steakhouse. ... Actor Chazz Palminteri has returned to Las Vegas for his new run of A Bronx Tale one-man shows at The Venetian and last night dined at Tao in The Venetian a few tables from me.

*Sounds like a dream assignment for me! The International Bikini Team Aloha State Finals is tonight at Silverton Casino Lodge. Bikini beauties from Hawaii will help hotel President Craig Cavileer open the resort’s new pool and then I’ll judge the two rounds of competition when the girls model Hawaiian luau tropical attire and then reveal their bikinis.

In all, 20 competitors will be narrowed down to a final three. The Nevada State Finals take place next month at the Silverton and then the international finals later this summer. The Silverton is making a donation to Keep Memory Alive for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health for my appearance.
