For the fifth consecutive year, the Miss America Pageant contestants yesterday walked the runway at Fashion Show on the Strip. Lynn Hackerman Weidner, 1971 Miss New Jersey and a member of the Miss America Organization board of directors, served as the mistress of ceremonies for the event.
After the contestants walked the clear, 80-foot-long retractable runway with multimedia screens playing, there was a meet-and-greet where they signed autographs for the public.
The 2010 Miss America Pageant, hosted by Mario Lopez, is Saturday at the Theater for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood and will be aired on TLC.
